4 Spools of Thread Later...

I finally finished quilting this quilt. I used the pebble quilting technique which was very labor intensive and used so much thread. I like how it turned out, but this will probably be the only quilt that I use pebble quilting on. I got the binding attached last night. Hopefully I can get the hand stitching done quickly.

  1. Fabulous!!!!! I'm thinking pebbles for my baby quilt - I love that look. Your binding is going to awesome with the dots.

What color thread did you use? And I assume that's Kona coal? I need to quilt a project that has coal and other lighter colors and am trying to decide what thread would blend best with it all.

  2. It looks amazing but I can see what you mean about it being labor intensive!

  3. Just awesome!!! Congratulations on finishing it up. It looks really great on the gray fabric - nice choice of quilting design.

  4. Wow! Happy to have stumbled upon your blog tonight. That is some phenomenal pebble quilting! You have much patience. Very cool.
