Scrap Quilting Bee

My fabrics arrived a week or so ago for the Sew Fresh Fabrics Scrap Quilting Bee. I love opening packages with fabric, so fun.

And here is the 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" block that I put together. The block is going to be used to make a Quilt for the Hopes and Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS.

Scrappy Cross Blocks

I wasn't ready to start basting my Love quilt, so I decided to start a new one. For this quilt I'm using my scraps to make cross blocks. They are each 4.5"x4.5". I really like how colorful it's going to be. I have 20 blocks done so far. I may put these aside for a while until I do a few more quilts so that I have some more scraps to make more cross blocks.

Scrappy Houses

I felt like using some of my scraps this week so I made a few scrappy houses. I'll put them together into a quilt one of these days, for now though it was fun playing with the scraps to make a these houses.
